C'est vendredi les amis!! Et pour fêter ça, un témoignage en français de Zoe Ganz, volontaire envoyée à Huruma Children Center en Tanzanie déjà 3 fois!!
"Difficile de décrire en quelques mots mon unique et incroyable expérience tanzanienne.
Je suis tombée amoureuse de l'Afrique et, depuis, je ne pense qu'à y retourner. La Tanzanie est un pays de bonne humeur, de totale liberté, sans prise de tête. C'est aussi un pays avec de magnifiques paysages et des possibilités infinies. J'ai construit des liens forts avec Huruma et c'est à eux que je pense tous les jours lorsque je me bats, ici, en Europe, pour faire ma place.
Je réalise la chance que j'ai d'avoir grandi dans une maison "en dure", d'avoir de l'eau qui coule du robinet, de ne pas avoir à me soucier de la nourriture et d'avoir pu bénéficier d'une bonne éducation scolaire. Je réalise aussi que j'ai grandi dans un monde de privilèges et de jugements.
Après plusieurs voyages à Huruma, je peux dire que je me sens comme à la maison là-bas. J'adore faire partie de ce projet, de voir grandir les enfants avec comme priorité de s'entre-aider et de se donner les meilleures chances de réussite.
Je ne remercierais jamais assez Le Solstice de m'avoir amenée à cette découverte, j'en suis profondément reconnaissante."

It's Friday, folks! And to celebrate this, a testimony from Zoe Ganz, volunteer sent to Huruma Children Center in Tanzania already 3 times!!
"Hard to describe in a few words my unique and incredible Tanzanian experience.
I fell in love with Africa and, since then, all I can think about is going back. Tanzania is a country of good mood, total freedom and no hassle. It is also a country with beautiful landscapes and endless possibilities. I have built strong ties with Huruma and it is them that I think about every day when I fight, here in Europe, to make my place.
I realize how lucky I am to have grown up in a "hard" house, to have water from the tap, to not have to worry about food and to have had a good school education. I also realize that I grew up in a world of privilege and judgment.
After several trips to Huruma, I can say that I feel at home there. I love being a part of this project, watching the children grow up with the priority of helping each other and giving each other the best chance of success.
I can't thank Solstice enough for bringing me to this discovery, I'm deeply grateful."
