Bonjour à tous! Un témoignage en français cette fois-ci, de Niklas et Sara, volontaires envoyés à Huruma Children Center en Tanzanie, en 2015.
"Notre séjour en Tanzanie a été une expérience extrêmement touchante et enrichissante. Nous gardons bien entendu d'excellents souvenirs de cette expérience.
Comme beaucoup de volontaires, nous avions peur de trop s'imposer au départ. Très vite pourtant, nous avons été submergés par la tendresse de ces enfants. C'est tellement beau de savoir qu'ils sont si plein d'amour, malgré leur passé difficile. On apprend de très bonnes leçons quand on est entourés de personnes comme ça!
Nous commencions notre journée par enseigner dans l'école des enfants et les retrouvions chaque soir à l'orphelinat pour les aider à faire leurs devoirs, jouer et partager leurs repas. Nous étions un peu comme un grand frère et une grande soeur, dans une très grande famille.
A la fin du séjour, il a été très difficile de quitter l'orphelinat car les liens sont forts! Nous restons convaincus qu'un jour ou l'autre nous les retrouverons, et on espère fortement que d'autres volontaires iront leur rendre visite.

Good morning, everyone! A testimony from Niklas and Sara, volunteers sent to Huruma Children Center in Tanzania in 2015.
"Our stay in Tanzania was an extremely touching and enriching experience. Of course, we have great memories of this experience.
Like many volunteers, we were afraid to be too imposing at the beginning. Very quickly, however, we were overwhelmed by the tenderness of these children. It is so beautiful to know that they are so full of love, despite their difficult past. You learn very good lessons when you are surrounded by people like that!
We started our day teaching in the children's school and met them every night at the orphanage to help them with their homework, play and share their meals. We were like a big brother and sister in a very big family.
At the end of the stay, it was very difficult to leave the orphanage because the bonds are strong! We remain convinced that one day or another we will find them again, and we strongly hope that other volunteers will visit them.
