About Le Solstice.

Le Solstice is a family foundation rooted in an educational environment and a shared commitment to giving back.

It was initiated by Pierre de Meyer, former owner and headmaster of Beau Soleil, together with his son Jérôme, with a simple intention: to make giving back a core value of the school community.

​

This began with volunteering trips to India and later expanded to other countries including Tanzania and Uruguay. Over time, these initiatives evolved into a structured foundation, now based in Lausanne.

​

Today, Le Solstice is led by the next generation, ensuring a structured and consistent approach, while the Board - composed of Jérôme, his wife, Catherine, and their children: Julie de Meyer, Sara Ringwald-de Meyer, Romain de Meyer and Léo de Meyer - defines the Foundation’s direction and ensures alignment with its purpose.

The Foundation remains a family-led initiative, guided by responsibility, transmission and a long-term commitment to meaningful impact.
