RISE is designed for nonprofit organizations that already demonstrate the ability to act and are ready to engage in a structured and demanding process.

If your organization is at an early idea stage, does not yet have a clearly defined project, or cannot provide basic operational and financial information, this process is likely not the right fit at this stage.
Eligibility criteria.
To be considered, organizations should be able to demonstrate the following.
Nonprofit status or equivalent public-interest mission.
A coherent approach, with clear, realistic objectives.
Evidence of existing activities and progress tracking.
Basic financial clarity, including how resources are used.
Clearly identified leadership and accountability.
Willingness to engage in a structured process, including review, monitoring, and follow-up.
A defined project (not a general intention or concept) - see here.

All applications follow a structured process.

Only applications meeting the eligibility criteria proceed beyond the initial screening stage.
STEP 1
Initial Screening
You will be asked to complete a short form (3–5 minutes) to present your organization and initiative.
Only organizations that passes will be contacted for a short introductory call.
STEP 2
Partner Qualification
If your organization passes the initial screening, you will be invited to a short video call to assess clarity of communication and alignment.​
You will then receive a detailed form to provide structured information about your organization which will be evaluated in line with the four dimensions of the RISE framework.
STEP 3
Project Funding Request
If qualified, you will be onboarded as a RISE partner and invited to submit a project funding request.​​
STEP 4
Project Qualification
We evaluate your funding request in line with the four dimensions of the RISE framework.
If approved by the Board, you will receive a formal funding agreement.
STEP 5
Project Reporting
Throughout the project, you will be asked to provide regular updates in line with the four dimensions of the RISE framework.
The Foundation does not accept unsolicited funding requests by email.
